Seriously, I can’t get over all these fun family sessions. This one was full of music, confetti, donuts and a family that loves each other. There truly is nothing greater. Here are a few of my favorites from my session with the lovely, Sara, of Sara Jensen Design, and her sweet family.

You are so gifted in capturing the look of love a family gives one another, highlighting the pops of color and unifying each aspect to the shoot. Nicely done. Beautiful pics, gosh! You make it so hard to pick a favorite!
Seriously love these! The ones of them in B/W throwing the confetti and the way H looks at his sister in the tepee- GET OUT OF HERE! It’s too much cuteness I love the one of Ry’s legs holding the dolls too! Super Job Sara!!

These are just so lovely and precious!
I truly love being able to tell a story through my images. That’s my goal for each session I’m honored to do. There’s nothing better than to follow a family around and capture them laughing, playing and just ‘being’ together and that’s what I had the privilege of doing on this cold, December day. It was a tree trimming, hot cocoa drinking, popcorn stringing, advent calendar eating, good time. This family is as sweet as they are cute, and I’m so thankful they let me come into their beautiful home and play.

Knowing this family as well as I do, it’s amazing to see how you authentically capture their love, their laughter and the amazing kind nature that truly is this family. And, this girl loooooooooves this holiday season like no other so what a perfectly themed shoot! I love this, them. And, those sisters are so beautiful and you captured their personality so well. Here is another family who is near and dear to my heart; Jenn, my right hand girl at weddings, and her precious family. This was such a fun session full of lots and lots of cool, vintage things…annnd not to mention there was a canoe involved with two love birds wrapped in lights. Yeah, super great. The three little ladies, Betty, Lucy and Olive, get an A in my book, especially considering it was in the 30′s the day of the shoot. It was cold. Real cold. I’m so thankful that I have such amazing people to photograph. It makes my job so awesome. Here’s some of my favorites from our sweet, little, vintage camping day.

The one of the boys on the log with the texture of the grass is insane. So film-y, layered. They look so joyful, and the thread of hearts works so well. Perfect! Really nice mix of pics.
